I bought the three gifts I needed to buy this weekend and now I'm done - thus prompting today's QOTD:

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Are you done holiday shopping? How many people did you have to buy for? Did you do what many shoppers did this year: drastically reduce the number of gifts bought or eliminate gifts altogether?

Originally, I was going to not buy any gifts this year, but since I know the two people I work for will give me something very nice, I bought some nice organic, free trade chocolate bars at REI and for Tim, got him the GPS he's been wanting/needing* (gotta love a sale). Otherwise I'm done.

So, what about you?

I never buy gifts.

I'm almost done. Just have to buy something for my dad and brother. I'm getting my dad some Bose speakers and my brother Mario Kart for the Wii.
I bought my mom a nice wallet and rain jacket.
I only shop for my immediate family, and bake chocolate chip cookies for my good friends. Usually, as a family, we buy one gift each for the grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. I think we're getting a cell phone for my grandma, which is a big deal, lol.

I bought for my mom, dad, godparents, two sisters, a sister's boyfriend, two grandmothers, a grandmother's boyfriend, and a couple friends.

I actually bought a bit more this year since I had made money. I've been a poor college student, but because of my employment this year I was actually able to purchase more than usual. I still looked for deals and did my shopping early like usual. I really enjoy buying gifts for others... I even sent out a couple Christmas cards this year.

Our shopping is almost completed. Just a few gift cards to pick up for extended family. My wife and I used to be in the ski industry and December was way to crazy a month for last minute shopping. We are no longer in the ski business but we do continue to shop early to beat the Holiday rush.

I haven't gotten any gifts yet! I need to get something for my mom and dad and each of my 2 sisters. That's it!
